Although this looks like a sandbox it is actually a planter box made from cypress. It is approximately 3 feet by 6 feet with a 12" depth. The customer lined it with a landscape fabric that water can pass through but the soil will not. He later commissioned another. |

A mailbox that looks like a train. The customer brought in the old one which had given many years of service before beginning to come apart. The old parts were used to make a pattern for the new one which is made from cypress. Urethane glue was used which is waterproof. The only parts usable from the old train were the wheels. The customer wanted to paint it to put a little of herself into the project. |

Adirondack chairs with table. The chairs are the Norm Abrham design from The New Yankee Workshop. The table is my own design. All pieces are made from cypress, a great outdoor wood, and finished with outdoor oil with UV protection. |

An heirloom cradle made from red oak with a mission oak stain. The spindles and knobs were purchased with the plans from Woodsmith Magazine. All other parts were handcrafted using the plans. |
